- Privacy-safe public-site activity labels
What it does not own
SGNL Desk owns operational playout and automation; SGNL Publish owns podcast hosting and distribution; Syndifeed owns programme delivery evidence; Sauti owns governed directory discovery.
Supported audio streams
ModaStream accepts public HTTP or HTTPS Icecast, SHOUTcast, direct MP3/AAC audio and HLS (.m3u8) endpoints. Radio.co and similar hosted providers work when the station supplies the provider’s public direct listen URL. ModaStream tests for actual audio before replacing an active stream and blocks private-network addresses.
Truth states
Public fields may be station supplied, machine observed, imported, officially verified, stale or unknown. A lower-authority integration must not overwrite a higher-authority source.
Remote MCP
Secure owner management
Add https://modastream.co/mcp/manage as a Streamable HTTP MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT or another OAuth-compatible client. After owner consent, it can manage private drafts, podcasts and sponsorships, recover website revisions, and publish when the owner has separately approved station:publish and explicitly confirms the action. Verified stream replacement requires station:stream, performs a fresh server-side audio probe and retains the previous URL for rollback. It cannot change domains, manage account access or permanently delete live content.
Public station facts
Product endpoint: https://modastream.co/mcp. Every published station also has a focused endpoint at https://modastream.co/mcp/stations/YOUR-SLUG. These require no token because they return only already-public information.
Portability
Station owners can export the published profile, theme configuration, public content references and truth evidence from Station settings. Media binaries and listener-level data are deliberately excluded.
